Amendments to the Guidelines for Regulated Dealers with effect from 28 Aug 2019 (Version 1.1)

In exercise of his powers under section 35(1) of the Precious Stones and Precious Metals (Prevention of Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing) Act 2019, the Registrar of Regulated Dealers hereby amends the Guidelines for Regulated Dealers in the Precious Stones and Precious Metals Dealers Sector on Anti-Money Laundering/Countering the Financing of Terrorism (“Guidelines”) from version 1.0 to 1.1 with effect from 28 Aug 2019.

A summary of the key changes may be found in the Version Control Record of the Guidelines version 1.1.

Update: The Guidelines have been amended from version 1.1 to 2.0 with effect from 14 Dec 2020. You may refer to this notice for more information.
