Amendments to the Guidelines for Regulated Dealers with effect from 28 Aug 2019 (Version 1.1)

The AML/CFT Guidelines for regulated dealers have been updated from version 1.0 to 1.1, effective 28 August 2019. Check the Version Control Record for a summary of key changes.

In exercise of his powers under section 35(1) of the Precious Stones and Precious Metals (Prevention of Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing) Act 2019, the Registrar of Regulated Dealers hereby amends the Guidelines for Regulated Dealers in the Precious Stones and Precious Metals Dealers Sector on Anti-Money Laundering/Countering the Financing of Terrorism ("Guidelines") from version 1.0 to 1.1 with effect from 28 Aug 2019.

A summary of the key changes may be found in the Version Control Record of the Guidelines version 1.1.

Update: The Guidelines have been amended from version 1.1 to 2.0 with effect from 14 Dec 2020.
